At night, some bouys are more of a danger than a navagational aid. I think all the bouys in the area should be lit up, especially the ones near the mouth of lake Erie, just past the Peace Bridge.
When you're boating at night, on your way out fishing, and you cross under the Peace Bridge there are two bouys that are REALLY tought to see. Since there are no city/land lights behind them (just open water), the boater must slow down his boat, squnit his eyes, fight the current, and fear hitting those crazy things. Just put a little solar-powered light on them.... please?
I know where all the bouys in the area are... but not everyone does. |
